vampire dog?

Nope, just Echo’s favorite sleeping position. He is the weirdest dog (I say that with immense affection).
Oh! And you have just got to see Mai1984′s artistic remix:

Close-up view of dog: Riviera Beach, Florida

Image by State Library and Archives of Florida
Local call number: Pr25423
Title: Close-up view of dog: Riviera Beach, Florida
Personal Author: Foster, Charles C.
Date: Photographed in May 1939.
Physical descrip: 1 photoprint: sepia; 14 x 11 in.
Series Title: (Print collections.)
General Note: Accompanying note: "8. The fat, lazy little dog never leaves his master’s side and consequently suffers from lack of exercise."
Biographical note: In the summer of 1939, Works Projects Administration (WPA) photographer and artist Charles C. Foster was assigned to take photographs for Florida Writers Project (FWP) writer Veronica Huss’ profile of the "Conchs" (Bahamian immigrants) of Riviera Beach. Armed with his Reflex-Korelle single-lens camera and four rolls of 12 exposure black and white film, Foster spent the day photographing Veronica and her subjects – immigrants from the Bahamas, who were derisively referred by locals as "Conchs". While the book was never published, the WPA’s Florida Art Project used the images for a traveling exhibit titled "Conch Town" that toured the nation between 1939 and 1943.

These dogs used to be called "African Wild Dogs" but it was felt this made them sound like a dangerous feral dog, so they are now "Painted Hunting Dogs"

Stray dogs refreshing and resting in the shadows of a very hot day in São Pedro do Sul, north of Portugal. I guess the wall was fresh, and that’s why they lay next to it.

The "cats" in the back are actually statues of a family of cats. The cat in front is an actual stray. The statues can be found at Boat Quay.
Cat Lit Up

Cat Pumpkin from Halloween 2004, carved from a stencil found online. The strange light effects around the carved openings are because the pumpkin had to be covered with cellophane to keep the wind out. It was very cold, and snowing in Boulder on this Halloween.

The Ashera Cat – child friendly

The rarest domestic cat available is called the Ashera (TM) and is a cross between a domestic cat and an Asian Leopard Cat like the Bengal Cat, but also is crossed with an African Serval.
At between ,000 and ,000, you do get an amazing looking cat!

Best viewed large.
Edit Nov 09 – It seems that the so called breeder of this breed is a fake and the cats are in fact Savannah Cats – ashera-savannah-cat.blogspot.com/
